Overview:
The Graduate visa permits individuals to remain in the UK for a minimum of two years following the successful completion of a course in the UK. It is essential to be present in the UK at the time of application.
Eligibility:
You may apply for a Graduate visa if all of the following conditions are met:
– You are currently in the UK.
– Your existing visa is a Student visa or a Tier 4 (General) student visa.
– You have completed a UK bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree, or another eligible course for the required duration under your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa.
– Your educational institution (such as your university or college) has informed the Home Office of your successful course completion.

Should you not qualify for a Graduate visa, alternative visa options may be available for your stay in the UK.
Duration of Stay :
A Graduate visa is valid for two years. For those holding a PhD or another doctoral qualification, the visa duration extends to three years. The validity of your visa commences from the date your application is approved.
Extending Your Stay in the UK:
The Graduate visa cannot be extended. However, you may have the option to transition to a different visa, such as a Skilled Worker visa. It is important to confirm your eligibility for applying for another type of visa to remain in the UK.
Application Process:
Applications must be submitted online. Eligible partners and children may also apply to stay in the UK.
Application Timeline:
You must submit your application before your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa expires. Applications can be made after your educational provider has notified the Home Office of your successful course completion.
